ZEN MD · QUICK START

From your folder, to any screen.

  1. Install on Windows.

    Download zen md 0.2.9 and double-click the installer on Windows 10 or later. Right-click a .md or .markdown file and choose “用 zen md 打开” (Open with zen md) to read it locally. The reader has a collapsible contents list and light or dark themes.

  2. Publish a folder.

    Right-click a Markdown file and choose “上传到 zen md” (Upload to zen md). Sign in to authorize the app on first use. Only that file is uploaded. To publish a whole folder, use “Publish Markdown to ZENVE”. On Windows 11, select “Show more options” first.

  3. Read anywhere.

    Open md.zenve.com on your computer, tablet or phone, then sign in to read.

Updates and supported files

Upload a file again after editing to update its online copy; other files are not changed or removed. Folder publishing also synchronizes deletions from that folder. Only .md and .markdown files are uploaded; images and attachments are not displayed.

Privacy and sharing

Projects are private by default. “Share → Create / get link” creates a revocable public link for the entire project, including future updates. The publisher’s “Copy Link” remains a private address that requires your sign-in.
